Nov 8 - Remembrance Day Assembly 9:15 AM (Grade 3) - PM Kinder students are welcome to attend under the supervision of their parent 

Nov 8 – Photo Retakes (after morning recess) 

Nov 9-14 (inclusive) - Fall Break 

Nov 21 or 22 – Grade 2 Field trip to Fort Calgary (please remember to return forms and pay the fee) 

Nov 22-24 – Parent Teacher Conferences (details and signup to come on November 16, 2023) 

Dec 18-22 – Trickster Residency – volunteers needed (please wait for an email from your room parent)

As it gets dark out - please remember to follow all traffic rules, especially no jay walking or u-turns near the school. 

We request that when you come to drop your child off, you ring the bell so that we may accompany them to class.

TRICKSTER VOLUNTEERS 

We are so lucky to be welcoming Trickster to our school from Dec 18-22.  We want to thank council for allowing this wonderful opportunity to create and present. Trickster Theatre is an artist-in-residency company based in Calgary, Alberta. They tour across Alberta, creating approx. 50+ original shows a year in all kinds of communities based on a theme chosen by the school and developed with the assistance of Trickster. These residencies take place in schools, transforming the gym into a theatre. A Trickster Theatre Residency involves the theatre team coming into our school for a week and facilitating staff and students in creating a unique and highly visual theatre. This week of workshops and rehearsals will culminate in a fun and high-energy production. They have been working with schools for over four decades! In that time, they have found that having parent involvement during a residency project greatly enhances the final production. There are many ways parents can be involved in a residency – from preparing costumes and making props, to helping the Trickster Team move equipment in and out of the school. From Dec 18-Dec 22, Trickster will take over Sam Livingston, and we need your help!
