Staggered Entry 2025/2026

We wanted to share with you the entry information for your incoming Kindergarten students. Below, you’ll see the times and dates for when your child is to be here at school for a staggered entry process. During that time, your child will be in class with teachers getting to see the classrooms and having some playtime together.

While students are in with the Kindergarten teaching team, parents are invited to join us in the library for a Welcome to Kindergarten, orientation session.  You’ll have a chance to meet the Administration team, members of our School Council, our front office staff and learn all about what school at Sam Livingston looks like for both you and your child.

Please note that yellow school bus service is not available on these days. The first two days of school will be staggered entry days where your child will attend for a 75-minute block.  This allows our teachers to get to know the students and create optimal class lists; should we need to make adjustments, we will contact you.
