CONFERENCES – NOV 23/24, 2023 

Please be advised that Learning Conferences will be hosted in-person on Thursday, November 23rd from 3:30pm to 7:00pm, and Friday, November 24th from 8:00am to 12:00 pm. 

Kindergarten students are reminded that they have no classes Thursday AND Friday, November 23 and 24. 

Students in Grades 1 - 4 have regular classes on Thursday, November 23, but no classes on Friday, November 24. 

Conferences can be booked through your MyCBE account.  Conference booking opens at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023.   

Please only book one interview per student, to ensure that we have enough bookable slots for everyone.

PURDY’S FUNDRAISER 

Please check your inbox for an email about our ongoing Purdy’s fundraiser. It is a commercial message so if you have not received it please sign up to receive commercial messages. 

How do parents/guardians subscribe and opt-in for school messages? 

If parents want to receive all messages from their school, they need to complete both of these steps: 

1 | Subscribe online for commercial messages by entering their email address at cbe.ab.ca/subscribe. They must use their primary email on file at school. 

2 | Opt-in for text messages by texting the word YES to the six-digit number 978338. The cell number must be on file at the school. (Text opt-in instructions are also explained at cbe.ab.ca/subscribe.)

SCHOOL COUNCIL 

Hey all!  We have Sam Livingston School Council and Association virtual meetings coming up this Monday, November 20 from 6pm-8pm and we'd love to see you there!  We will be discussing changes to our bylaws as well as usual business.  Please feel free to check out the meeting agendas ( and ASLSC), October meeting minutes which will need to be approved [SLSCSLSC and ASLSC minute links], as well as current bylaws before Monday and bring any thoughts or questions you might have!

Sam Swag friendly reminder

A few weeks ago you received an email letting you know which of our Familles de Sam your child is in.

Each Famille de Sam has been designated a specific colour, and all siblings in a family/home grouping belong to the same Famille de Sam.

We’re sending this message as a reminder that our online store closes on Friday, November 17^th, 2023. If you are interested in purchasing Sam clothing in your child’s Famille de Sam colour, you are welcome to do so before that time.

Please note that at this time, this is not a fundraiser and the purchase Sam clothing is not necessary.

Once placed, orders may take up to 4-6 weeks to arrive at the school. 

It will be labelled with your child’s/your name and we will send it home once we receive it.

Please ensure to label it with your child’s name once it gets home.
