We hope you and your children are as excited as we are about starting the new school year this coming Monday!

Important School Reminders 

Toys and Treasures – these can provide distractions from learning so we request the following items stay home. 

  • Toys, valuables, journals and special treasures 
  • Fanny packs (with the exception of those who carry Epi-pens or Inhalers) 
  • Personal Mobile Devices are not permitted, this includes mobile phones, Smart Watches, iPads, game devices 

  

Hats/ Hoodies/ Tuques 

  • Are not to be worn inside the building at any time 


Traffic Safety 

Crosswalks – Use Them! 

  • Look both ways before crossing. 
  • Use designated crosswalks. 
  • Do not jaywalk. 


Driving: When driving, please follow all traffic laws and use caution around the school.  

  • Avoid U-turns. 
  • Do not stop, even briefly, in the bus zone. 
  • Do not park in or within 5 metres of a crosswalk. 
  • Drop-Off 
  • We encourage parents to kiss, drop and go. The more adults there are on the school fields, the more difficult it is to supervise the students. 
  • The school park is closed between the hours of 7:45-2:30. Younger siblings are not permitted to play on the park during these hours. 


Help from the Office 

  • Our office team is here to support families and is open from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 
  • When possible, please avoid contacting the office during peak times: 
  • The 20 minutes before and after morning entry. 
  • The 20 minutes before and after afternoon dismissal. 

These are especially busy times as our priority is getting students safely where they need to be. Thank you for your understanding and consideration!
