TRAFFIC REMINDERS

When parking to drop off or pick up, please do not block crosswalks or driveways.  You must park 5 meters away from any crosswalk.  Backing into a crosswalk is extremely dangerous.

  • Please cross at the crosswalks – not between the busses.
  • Please do not park in the crosswalks or in front of driveways.
  • Please be mindful of your speed in all areas around our community, including alleyways.
  • Please do NOT walk through the parking lot.
  • Please be mindful of pets on leash, they are low to the ground.
  • Dogs are not allowed on school property.
  • Even when running late, please follow the traffic guidelines to maintain safety – we will welcome you anytime you come.

SAM SWAG

For families wanting to purchase Sam Swag, our online store is open until October 3rd, 2025.

https://samlivingstion2025.itemorder.com/shop/sale/

Please note that purchasing Sam Swag is always optional and never mandatory for families.

Each of our students is placed into a grouping called a “Famille”, a “family” here at Sam Livingston.  Each “Famille” is represented by a specific colour (Purple, Blue, Yellow or Green).  Students are invited to wear their Famille colour every Monday (or first school day of the week) to build school spirit and comraderie between all of the grades.

PARENT CONTACT LIST

Please note that a form went home asking if you would like to be part of the parent contact list for your child’s class.  This allows families to communicate with each other to arrange play dates, share birthday invites and the like.  We strongly advise against sending birthday invites to school as it can be an exclusionary activity.  School staff will not facilitate the distribution of birthday invitations during school hours.

Message from Council - FEED THE TEACHER

To show our appreciation to teacher and staff, council requests families sign up to volunteer their time and culinary skills to feed the staff.  The first set of official conferences are for Kindergarten familes only, however we would like to take this opportunity to fee all staff.  Please see the link below to sign up.

‘Feed The Teachers’ Potluck.
