HEALTHY HUNGER
Healthy Hunger – this is the platform on which you can order lunches for Fun Lunch Days. The Fun Lunch will be from Subway on October 23rd.
- Please double check that when you sign up for Healthy Hunger you select Sam Livingston NOT Sam Livingston School. Kinders, if you do not see the option to order popcorn, you need to change the school.
SAM SAYS BONJOUR – CELEBRATION OF LEARNING – October 24 – 12:30-2:34
We are inviting parents to come visit your child (ren)’s classroom(s) to participate in a learning activity.
There will be a specific time block for each grade.
You will receive an invite from your child(ren)’s teachers by the end of next week.
Please respond to the invite indicating if you will attend.
We have to limit the adults invited to 2 per family.
Please contact the office with your questions.
HALLOWEEN COSTUME GUIDELINES
Halloween is a Thursday this year. We look forward to seeing all the different costumes that students choose to wear.
Please note, a costume is not mandatory and personal choice will be respected.
If your child chooses to wear a costume, we request no masks, no make-up and no weapons.
We also are requesting that you do NOT send candies and sweets to school on this day.
SYSTEM STUDENT ACCOMODATION PLAN
Please see the attached System Student Accommodation Plan (SSAP) letter for Sam Livingston School, from CBE's Planning department. A brief presentation with some further details will be made at our next school council meeting.

The Halloween Dance is such a fun event for families, it cannot run without volunteers!

We are fortunate to welcome Jolene and Riley to our community as they do their practicum to complete their Bachelor of Social Work degree. They will be working alongside our teachers and administration to support students and families.
