ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE 

Sam and Walter 

We will have the privilege of working with a cross-cultural musician duo from November 18 – December 6. Walter MacDonald White Bear and Samantha Whelan have been working together for 10 years creating musical projects all over the world.  Our goal is to write and arrange a new school song that is connected to the learning on the land and our sense of belonging here at Sam. We want to thank School Council for supporting this wonderful opportunity. 

Renuka Kumar 

Mme Kumar will be joining for 2 days to teach students about the customs and celebrations around Diwali as part of our learnings around diversity.  If you feel you have a skill, knowledge set or special interest that could contribute to this endeavour, please let us know.
