Safety reminders...
- Supervision begins at 7:45 am. Please try to drop off your children no earlier than this time.
- Gymnastics – dress code for safety
We will begin our Gymnastics unit in the gym on Monday.
Please ensure students are dressed safely to use the equipment: no jewelry, long hair tied back no hoodies, pants need to be worn under dresses.
Next year...
As we plan for next year, it is very important for us to know if you plan on NOT returning to Sam Livingston for the 2024/25 school year. Please let Mme Winter in the office know as soon as possible. Thank you!
Outdoor Space Committee Volunteers
For next year we are looking for an outdoors committee to beautify our space. We will discuss this in further detail at the School Council Meeting on May 27th. Please join this meeting if you are interested in being a part of this committee.
We need your help...
We have been experiencing continued issues in the bathrooms.
Teachers have spoken to students, there is supervision at the bathrooms (on an intermittent basis) and students have been spoken to individually.
We are asking that all families have a conversation around the proper use of the bathrooms:
- How to use a urinal
- To place paper towels in the bin and not the floor
- Bathroom etiquette – it is not ok to peek under stall doors while someone is in the bathroom
- Climbing on the stalls is not ok and dangerous
- Games of any sort are not to be played in the washrooms, it is a place of “business
