ICE BLOCKS!
This week we are gearing up for great weather, so I hope everyone has cleared out their freezers a bit for ice blocks! Please follow the instructions below as you prep your blocks:
Open the top of your milk carton all the way (see image below)
Spray the inside of your carton with PAM or another nut free oil
Add water and any food colouring or natural items to your block (please nothing that will hurt the environment)
Place your carton upright in the freezer for 4-5 days!
Bring your ice blocks to school the morning of Thursday March 6, please place them in the triangular green space in front of the parking lot
We cannot wait to make the best ice castle ever with you!
FRENCH MOVIE TRIP
Field trip forms have gone home. If you have not done so, please return to the school ASAP.
We are fortunate to be able to attend a screening of a French film Friday, March 7th at 10:00am.
The films are:
Toupie et Binou (Duration: 1h23)
Mon Chat et Moi (Duration: 1h24)
We will be departing from the school at 9:30 am and returning at 11:30am.
Snacks for the movie:
Please note that the concession is not available to students on this day. You may send a snack with your child for the movie. There is a popcorn day the same week, so should you wish to order an extra bag for the movie, we encourage you to do so through Healthy Hunger (scan the QR code to access). Please let your student know that one of the bags is to be saved for Friday.
