AIR QUALITY 

We are all excited for June and summer to be fully upon us.  
As Air Quality has become an concern over the last few days, we are writing to inform you about the policies in place that govern our decision making regrading outdoor activities. 

The CBE has indicated that when the Calgary, Alberta - Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) - Environment Canada reaches 7 or above, schools are asked to postpone or cancel prolonged outdoor activity. 

This can mean the cancellation of outdoor recess, outdoor physed and outdoor field trips.

SCHOOL FEES 

Grade 1 Zoo Fees have been posted. Please ensure your school and field trips fees are paid prior to the last day of class. All accounts are to be paid in full, yearly. 

LIBRARY BOOKS DUE 

Please note that all Library books are now due back to the library.   

REGISTRATION FOR TRANSPORTATION 

Transportation registration is available using your MyCBE account. (If you do not already have an account, click here to learn how to create one.) 
 

Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. 
 

We continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing bus stop with available space. Processing times for registrations submitted after the June 22 deadline will be delayed. Confirmed routes are posted in August. For those who register after the June 22 deadline, it may take until mid-October before your child is able to ride the bus. 
 

Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025.
