ICE BLOCKS REQUESTED
We will be building an ice castle again this year during our Semaine de la Francophonie. Please start freezing ice in 2-liter containers. Coloured blocks look the best. Choose whatever food colouring you have in your pantry for the ice blocks. We have no storage for ice blocks here at school, so please do keep them at home until further notice. Merci!
Tips:
Spray the inside of the container with spray oil.
Make a few – they may not all work.
Containers such as this are the best.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteer opportunity!
On Friday March 1st, we will need the help of volunteers to end our Semaine de la Francophonie with our Carnaval! If you have a valid police clearance and would like to help make this day a success, please consider signing up for the in school times. Alternatively, we need volunteers to organize ice blocks for the outdoor event and does not require a police clearance.
On March 1st, please arrive at the front office and check in for your volunteer time. Further instructions will be provided day off for the games. Please ensure to dress appropriately for the weather.

PROGRAM MONITORING SURVEYS
We are part of a program monitoring pilot in order to determine strengths and areas of growth specific to language programs. All stakeholders: students, parents/ guardians/ staff are being asked to provide feedback through the form of a survey.
Please take a few moments to respond the questions found here about the French Immersion program and about communication between the school and home.
This survey will close March 1, 2024. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this.
