September 12 - Terry Fox Assembly 1pm – Parents Welcome ( Kinder AM are welcome to attend with guardian. Rec House will be attending.) 

September 13 – Terry Fox Run:  

• 9am for Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 
• 1pm for Kindergarten, Grades 3 and 4 

September 14 – Fire Drill (AM) 

September 21 – Welcome Back BBQ: 5-7pm 

September 22 – No school for students 

September 29 – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – No school

All welcome and encouraged to attend. 
You will have the opportunity to meet your child's teacher(s) and see the engaging space in which they spend their days. 
You will also be invited to have a hot dog and get to know the other families in our community during this event. 

A photographer will be present to take family photos as well.😊

Walking distance Field Trip Letter - we are fortunate to be able to use natural spaces around the school to complement our learning, the attached letter is for your information regarding such outings.

Through your MyCBE School Engage Account 

If you do not have a MyCBE account, on the MyCBE page click on Create a MyCBE Account. For online help refer, to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video). 

To complete these forms: 

1 | sign in to your MyCBE account 

2 | click on the SchoolEngage icon 

3 | select the form 

4 | complete or review and update the form 

5 | click on Submit to send the form electronically to the school 

6 | repeat steps 3-5 for each form 

Please submit the Demographic Verification and Annual Authorization forms in SchoolEngage for your child by Monday, September 18. These forms are mandatory every year for Alberta Education to confirm student funding. Thank you for completing them.  

• Student Health Plan - only if required for your child (ren) 
• Verification of Demographic information (this is where to add extra contacts such as out of school care) 
• Annual Authorization - 2023-24 – Combines the following forms: 
• School District Use of Personal Information - explains how CBE uses personal information in providing education services. 
• Consent for CBE Use of Student Information – provides an option to grant / not grant consent for additional use of student information by school/district and third parties. 
• Consent for Use of Student Information by News Media and Outside Groups (Third Party) - provides an option to grant / not grant consent for additional use of student information by outside groups and third parties  
• Noon Supervision and Transportation Registration: Instructions are available on the CBE website Support Page Services Registration.  Only those students who are registered for Noon Supervision (Grades 1-5) and/or Transportation are eligible to attend Noon Supervision and/or Transportation services as applicable.  Fees for these services will be added to student accounts by CBE Fees in October. Grade 1 – 4 students must be registered for lunch time supervision at school
