IMPORTANT INFOMATION FOR GRADE 1 AND 2 FAMILIES – CHANGE! EFFECTIVE MONDAY OCTOBER 2/2023.

A change is being made to the drop off and pick up doors for grade 1 and grade 2 students.

The new door for each grade remains on the east side of the school.

This change has been made to simplify traffic inside the school and to allow grade one teachers the ability to dismiss from a larger area where eye contact can be more easily made with parents/ caregivers.

Grade 1 students will enter and exit through the double doors by the green bike racks, close to the portable, still on the southeast side of the building.

Grade 2 students will enter and exit through the single door on the northeast side of the building.

Upon arrival, Monday morning, please find your child’s room number written on chalk in the new location where they will line up and meet their teacher.

All grade 1 and 2 teachers will be out to greet students on Monday morning.

Please see the attached pdf map .

OLDER SIBLINGS MEETING YOUNGER SIBLINGS

Older siblings are being requested to walk outside to meet their younger siblings. Teachers will reinforce this in classrooms, and we are kindly requesting you share this information with your child as well.
